The ACBL has put together a book of duplicate bridge rules (aka Laws) to help us play
the game fairly by instructing directors how to correct irregularties when they come up.
Everytime an irregularity occurs, someone at the table should call for the Director,
"Director Please".
When the director arrives, only the person who called for the director should talk.
The director may, at their discretion, ask others at, or away from, the table further
questions to come to a fair determination of how to rectify the irregularty. Here at
our small club, we tend to be a little casual on the laws but it helps for everyone
to know the law when a situation occurs.
This is a new section and will take me a little time to get all the laws posted here.
